Maybe one of the most convenient photographs I've made recently, this was the scene in the backyard of my Uncle's cabin in the Adirondacks. Each morning, the first 15 minutes or so after the sun came up were met with a foggy lake which quickly burned off. The first morning I saw this happening but wasn't quick enough to get my camera and set it up...I didn't miss the opportunity the next morning! Is there anything more peaceful than watching fog rise off of a lake with no one else around? Add in the call of a loon for full effect...
